Red Sand - Arts Management

An integral part of SightSonic International Festival of Digital Arts, the Artists Platform is a showcase for emerging artists whose work has digital technology at the heart of the creative process. The 2006 Platform saw 10 artists exhibit their work at York St John University.

red sand coordinated all elements of the Platform, from the initial call for submissions through the selection process to the arrival of the artists in York and their participation in the festival programme.

The artistic quality was very high in 2006 and it's hoped that some of the participants from the 2006 Platform will come back to York to take part in SightSonic 2007.
